 Gameplay of Minecraft for PC

Minecraft is an open world game in which player has basically no specific mission to accomplish giving the player a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game. By default the game is first person, but players have the option to play in third person mode too. The world represented in game is mainly composed of rough 3D objects like cubes that are arranged in a fixed grid pattern and represents different materials like stone dirt, tree trunks water etc.

Although the game offers full freedom to the player to roam freely in game but the objects and items can only be placed at fixed locations relative to the grid. The player has full freedom to walk through different terrains like mountains, plains, forests and even water bodies. Minecraft also offers some non-playing characters which are known as mobs which include villagers, animals and hostile creatures like spiders,  skeletons etc. It also features two alternate dimensions besides the main world; the Nether which is a hell like dimension and The End which is a barren land in which a boss dragon is there and killing the dragon cues the game’s ending credits.

Modes of Minecraft for PC

The different modes that Minecraft offers are:

Survival Mode:

This is the basic mode in which the player has to gather natural resources like wood stone etc found in the game world. These resources are later used to craft certain items and blocks. This mode offers a health bar which is depleted by attacks from monsters, drowning or even falling into lava. Players also have a hunger bar which must be filled periodically by eating food in game.

Creative Mode:

In this mode players have the access to majority of the resources available in the game. The player can roam freely and does not take damage by mob and is even not affected by hunger. This mode basically focuses on building and creating large projects.
